Rokas Jokubaitis will not move to the NBA next season and will be part of the roster of FC Barcelona.

Jokubaitis agreed to a four-year deal with FC Barcelona a few weeks ago, but was selected with the 34th pick in the NBA Draft by the New York Knicks. Therefore, he joined the team in the Summer League, but played only a few games before leaving the squad.

“Immanuel Quickley (sore groin) and Luca Vildoza (sore right foot) are out for today’s Summer League game. Rokas Jokubaitis has left the team and returned to Spain,” the Knicks announced.

The young Lithuanian guard will now join a talented and experienced backcourt line, with FC Barcelona having Nick Calathes, Nicolas Laprovittola, Cory Higgins and Kyle Kuric in the point guard and shooting guard positions.
