The Ben Simmons saga continues for the Philadelphia 76ers, as the team is looking to trade the Australian star. Kendrick Perkins added another dimension during his latest appearance in ESPN’s ‘The Jump’ as the Sixers are hoping to receive an ‘All-Star’ package for Simmons.

According to the NBA analyst, Simmons may be willing to not attend the Sixers’ training camp, if the team does not trade him.

Simmons seems to be ready to move from Philadelphia, as he cut communication with the team since the end of the season.

Training camp will begin on September 28 for the Sixers, who are interested in Damian Lillard, if he becomes available. However, Simmons, who can be part of a blockbuster trade, could not be interested in starting the season in Philadelphia.

Simmons is one of the best defenders in the league; however his offensive liabilities were exposed once again in the postseason, especially in the EC semifinal series vs. Atlanta.
