The then Miami Heat guard Kendrick Nunn and Los Angeles Lakers guard Talen Horton-Tucker worked out together in Miami with NBA skills trainer Ronnie Taylor in November of 2020. They worked on a lot of situations and different shots they see in the NBA. They both played together at Simeon High School in Chicago.
Nunn, who has agreed to a two-year, $10M deal with the Lakers, is coming off a breakout year of his own after averaging 14.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists while shooting 48.5% from the field and 38.1% from deep for the Heat. Meanwhile, Horton-Tucker averaged 9.0 points on 45.8% shooting with 2.6 boards, 2.8 assists, and 1.0 steal in more than 20 minutes per game last season for the Lakers.
