The Lakers and the Wizards have agreed to a blockbuster trade for NBA superstar Russell Westbrook, which will be completed by the end of the Draft night.

The deal will include several players and draft picks and will help the Lakers create their own Big-3 to fight for the title next season.

“The Washington Wizards have agreed to trade Russell Westbrook, 2024 second-round pick, 2028 second-round pick to the Los Angeles Lakers for Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Montrezl Harrell and No. 22 tonight,” Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Westbrook still has two years and $91M left on his current contract with the Wizards.
