Luka Doncic shared his excitement for his stellar performance in his Olympics debut with Slovenia.
Doncic went for a game-high 48 points in the contest, on 18/29 shooting and 6/14 from beyond the arc, leading Slovenia to the 100-118 victory over Argentina.
“It is a very special day for Slovenia,” said Doncic about his Olympics debut, via Marca.
“I don’t care about the records, we wanted a victory and that’s what we came for.
I like being a star of the Games; I feel good to be one of the stars if I am,” Doncic added.
Doncic and Slovenia will now battle Japan on Thursday, whereas Argentina will play Spain.
