NBA executives are still high in Ben Simmons’ ability despite his postseason presence, which is poor, as the Philadelphia 76ers never got past the second round of the playoffs.

The Sixers could look to move Simmons after being a non-factor for Philadelphia in the playoff series vs. the young Atlanta Hawks.

According to Terry Pluto of, two NBA executives still claim that Simmons has the potential to become an important part of any team with his LeBron-like athleticism.

“He has been in the NBA for four seasons. As two NBA executives told me, “He has freakish athletic ability, almost like LeBron James in that area.” They mean a big guy in terms of speed, strength, jumping, etc.”

Simmons could be among the players that they are expected to be moved this offseason as the Sixers could look to add another offensive superstar to their team.

During his career with the Philadelphia 76ers, Simmons averages 15.9 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.7 assists.
