Phoenix Suns will have Chris Paul available for Game 3 of the series vs. the LA Clippers. According to Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes, Paul intends to return for Game 3 after clearing healthy and safety protocols.

Paul has been in the protocols since June 16. He reportedly passed a cardio test, which is the final step of the league’s health and safety protocols process.

The Suns hold a 2-0 lead, with the series shifting to L.A. for Games 3 and 4, after taking Game 2 on DeAndre Ayton’s alley-oop finish over Ivica Zubac in the last second of the regulation.

In 10 postseason games, Paul has averaged 15.7 points and 8.7 assists per game. The Suns bested the Lakers and the Nuggets in the previous rounds before facing the Clippers in the Western Conference Finals.
