Milwaukee Bucks barely made it out of a seven-game series against the Brooklyn Nets with Giannis Antetokounmpo leading Mike Budenholzer’s team to the Eastern Conference Finals with an epic Game 7 win.

After the game, the two-time MVP praised Kevin Durant for his performance in the series as KD scored an NBA-record 48 points in Game 7 Saturday.

“I said it a couple of days ago, he’s the best player in the world. He’s still the best player in the world,” Giannis said on Durant. “We know coming into the series we had to do it as a team. We had to guard him as a team.”

The Bucks’ superstar did his part in Brooklyn as he went off for 40 points, 13 rebounds and five assists to propel his team to the victory on Saturday’s epic matchup.

The Nets had the chance to end Milwaukee’s season at the end of regulation, but Durant’s potential game-winning shot was a long two.

The Bucks are getting ready to face either Philadelphia 76ers or Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference Finals.
