Milwaukee Bucks’ superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo called Kevin Durant the best player in the world after his historic Game 5 performance.

Durant exploded for a 49-point triple-double to lead the Nets over the Bucks in the crucial Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinal series (3-2).

“He’s the best player in the world right now and we’ve got to beat him as a team,” Antetokounmpo said after Durant’s 49-point, 17-rebound, 10-assist masterpiece, according to The Associated Press’ Brian Mahoney.

Antetokounmpo expressed his willingness to guard Kevin Durant after surprisingly wasn’t tasked with facing him in defense for most of the game.

The Bucks will head back to Milwaukee hoping to stave off elimination and return to Brooklyn for Game 7.
