Mario Hezonja made his return to European basketball last season as he signed with Panathinaikos after spending five years in the NBA.
The scoring forward denied a recent report of SER’s Pacojo Delgado, that claimed he was close to making his return to Barcelona in the offseason.
Hezonja joined the Greens this season with the permission of Barcelona and posted an average of 14.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists in 8 games upon his EuroLeague return.
He also helped the EuroLeague giants win their 39th Greek League. Any European team that would like to sign Hezonja this offseason will have to compensate Barcelona, Eurohoops reports.
