Phoenix Suns decimated the Denver Nuggets in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals series, and Nuggets’ head coach Michael Malone was not happy after his team’s disappointing performance.

But, Nikola Jokic refuted the Nuggets coach, claiming his squad may have wavered a little when things got rough, but that’s not the same as quitting.

The newly named MVP of the regular season finished with a solid line of 24 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists. The Nuggets will have to amp up their performance to have a chance vs. Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns.

The series is heading to Denver as the Nuggets will try to get back one over the Suns. Game 3 is on Friday.
