Denver Nuggets guard Will Barton is expected to play in Game 2 against the Phoenix Suns tonight, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
Barton, who has been out since April 23 and was previously listed as doubtful, will test his hamstring in warmups and barring a setback, will play.
It’s not yet clear if Barton will start, but he will likely have strict minutes restrictions in his first game back in over a month.
The 30-year-old will give the Nuggets another offensive threat for the rest of the postseason, as well as another player to help guard Suns star Devin Booker.
In 56 games this season, Barton averaged 12.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.
The Nuggets will look to even the series, as they trail the Suns 1-0.
