The Los Angeles Clippers came up short in Game 1 against the Utah Jazz as they lost the game by 3 points (109-112). Kawhi Leonard was the team’s top scorer with 23 points, followed by Paul George with 20 points.

After the game, Leonard talked about the loss, saying there are no excuses for his team who was up by 10 points at halftime and lost the third quarter by 13 points. “It’s no excuses, we had a 10-point lead at halftime. … I felt we came out flat,” he said, per Andrew Greif.
