Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid will play and starting in Game 1 of the second round against the Atlanta Hawks, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. The 27-year-old MVP candidate has been dealing with right knee issues.
Embiid averaged 24 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game over the four first round games against the Washington Wizards. His numbers dropped in playoffs in comparison to regular season when he averaged 28.5 points, 10.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
