Clint Capela did a remarkable job on Joel Embiid in the second half of Game 4 between the Hawks and the 76ers as Atlanta came back from a double-digit deficit to tie the series (2-2) on Monday.

The Hawks’ defensive shot-stopper claimed he figured out Joel Embiid as he made every shot a tough one for the All-Star bigman.

In a little under 18 minutes of action in the final two quarters, Philly’s big man shot 0-12 from the field and collected just three points, which came from his four free throws.

“We were making his job tougher contesting everything,” Capela said in regards to Embiid. “Making him work. Whenever you wear him out, everything becomes tougher for him. That’s how I knew it was a long series and when the fatigue comes in. . . It’s a different ballgame.”

Ever since Game 1 of the second-round series, Embiid’s been dealing with a tone meniscus. That did not stop him from dominating the first three games of the series.

The Hawks will have to win at least one more game in Philadelphia to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. Game 5 is set to take place on Wednesday.
