Anthony Davis is planning to play in Game 6 between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns on Thursday, according to Shams Charania.

Davis is dealing with a left groin strain and missed Game 5, but Charania says the big man’s plan is to be in the lineup for Game 6.

“Lakers star Anthony Davis (strained groin) plans to play in Game 6 vs. Suns as long as warmups go accordingly, sources tell TheAthletic and Stadium,” Charania reports.

Game 6 is must-win for Davis and the Lakers, who trail 3-2 in the series. If they win, they will force Game 7, otherwise they will be eliminated.
