LeBron James is not optimistic about the participation of Anthony Davis in Game 6 against the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night.
Davis is dealing with a left groin strain and was ruled out for Game 5, which the Lakers lost by 30 (85-115).
“My mindset is he’s not going to be able to play Game 6. If something changes, we go from there,” James told reporters, via Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation.
James and the Lakers need to win Game 6 even without Anthony Davis in the lineup. If they lose, they will be eliminated.
