An MRI revealed a grade 2 calf strain for Washington Wizards forward Davis Bertans, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
He will need 4-to-6 weeks for a recovery.
The Wizards will now be down a key player as they face elimination against the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 5 on June 2.
The injury comes as Bertans had just found his shooting stroke again in the team’s Game 4 win over the 76ers.
Bertans, who exited the game with 8:57 remaining in the third quarter, scored 15 points in 23 minutes on 3-of-6 shooting from three-point.
This injury is the same one that sidelined the 28-year-old for two weeks back in March.
Guard Raul Neto could be inserted back into the starting lineup after Bertans replaced him in the last two games.
