Los Angeles Clippers were unable to stop Luka Doncic and co. for the second straight time, falling to a 2-0 deficit in the Western Conference first-round series.
After the game, Kawhi Leonard addressed the issues his team appeared to have during Game 2 of the series, claiming that the Clippers should amp up their game on the defensive end.

“It’s not magic,” Leonard said. “We got to come out and play basketball. Get stops. That is the name of the game right now. They’re shooting too great in the first two games, and we have to help each other. Too many straight-line drives, dunks, layups. We got to hang our hat on the defensive end.”
“Just making sure that we’re staying even keeled, you know what I mean?” Leonard continued. “It’s playoff basketball, you just gotta figure it out. You gotta figure it out. Just gotta stay focused and make sure that we keep an eye on the prize.”
The Mavericks shot 52-percent from deep in Game 2 scoring 127 points on 58-percent from the field, with the Clippers allowing many easy baskets inside the paint.
Ty Lue’s team will need to get two wins on the road to even the series and turn things around. Clips and Mavs will again face each other on Friday for Game 3 of the series.
