Anthony Davis was able to bounce back from a subpar performance in Game 1 against the Phoenix Suns when he had just 13 points. The 28-year-old star forward dropped 34 points in Game 2 helping the Los Angeles Lakers secure the win and tie the series.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel was happy to see AD recover from a slump in Game 1. “Great assertiveness. He does it in so many ways,” he said postgame.

“He didn’t settle much for the jumpshot. He really ran the floor, rolled hard, drove the ball hard, had the intent to attack the paint with and without the basketball with his seals and driving the basketball and was able to pick up a lot of fouls, get himself at the free-throw line. That always helps a great player to get going. Great bounce back game for him.”
