Devin Booker played excellent offensively in his first-ever playoff game and led the Phoenix Suns past the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 1 (90-99).
Booker led all scorers with 34 points (13/26 shooting, 3/7 from beyond the arc), along with seven rebounds and eight assists. DeAndre Ayton added 21 points (10/11 shooting) and 16 boards for the winners.
On the other hand, six Lakers players scored in double figures, with LeBron James flirting with the triple double (18 points, seven rebounds, 10 assists).
Phoenix was in control from start to finish and cruised to the victory, despite the multiple attempts of the Lakers to come back to the game.
The Suns lead the series 1-0. Game 2 will take place on Tuesday.
