Los Angeles Lakers came back from a 13-point deficit in the second half and secured a playoff berth vs. the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.

Skip Bayless took to Twitter and revealed his biggest takeaway from the matchup between the two teams. The TV analyst provided insight on Drummond’s fit with the Lakers.

“My biggest takeaway for the Lakers: The Big Penguin doesn’t work for them, as I predicted when they acquired Kareem Abdul-Drummond. He’s a lane-clogger and ball-stopper. Can’t wait to hear what Shannon now thinks about his ‘guy.’”

Drummond was a non-factor during his time on the court against the small-ball Warriors as Steve Kerr used Kevon Looney and Draymond Green at the center position.

Drummond finished the contest with four points and seven rebounds to conclude a miserable night. Despite Drummond’s poor outing, the Lakers were able to prevail over the Warriors to secure the seventh seed.

They will face the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the 2021 NBA Playoffs.
