After being canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NBA Summer League is officially making a comeback.

Summer League 2021 will be held in Las Vegas from Aug. 8-17 with all 30 teams playing five games.

A championship game will then take place on Aug. 17.

No other details have been announced at this time.

It’s also unclear if the other smaller summer leagues in Orlando, Salt Lake City and Sacramento will take place.

The NBA Draft is set to take place on July 29, a little over a week before summer league tips off.

Summer league typically consists of drafted and undrafted rookies, second-year players, G League players and free agents looking to make an impression in hopes of making an NBA roster.
