The Memphis Grizzlies survived the San Antonio Spurs and will now play for the eighth seed in the West on Friday.
Memphis took a double-digit deficit early in the contest, but the Spurs came back and tied the game midway through the fourth quarter (83-83). The Grizzlies stood tall, though, and sealed the deal from the free-throw line (96-100).
On Friday, the Grizzlies will play the loser of Warriors-Lakers for the No. 8 seed and a matchup with the top-seeded Utah Jazz. For their part, the Spurs were eliminated from the playoffs.
