Nikola Jokic is considered the front-runner to win the MVP award this season for several pundits around the league. Steve Nash admitted that Nikola Jokic should win the award prior to the game vs. the Nuggets on Saturday.

Despite the loss to the Nets, the Joker continued his great sequence of performances during Saturday ending up with 29 points, seven rebounds and six assists against Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

The center from Serbia is averaging 26.4 points, 10.8 rebounds and 8.5 assists per game being the MVP candidate with the greater level of consistency this season.

The Nuggets are remaining fourth in the West despite dropping three of their last four games. As of now, with four games remaining in the regular season, Jokic and co. will face the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
