Kemba Walker was forced to exit the Celtics against the Hornets game during the second quarter due to a ‘weird’ hip issue.

The Celtics’ superstar was able to return later in the second quarter. He finished the contest with 20 points, six rebounds and four assists in just under 30 minutes of action.

“I can’t really explain it, to be honest,” Walker told reporters. “I don’t know. Just felt some weird pain on my side. Can’t really explain it. It was pretty painful at the time.

“I’m fine right now, but I’m still hurting a little, to be honest. I guess I’ll get some better information on it tomorrow. Just watch the situation and see how I feel when I wake up.”

The Celtics succumbed to a surprising 104-125 loss to the undermanned Charlotte Hornets to fall to 32-29 record with 10 games remaining for the end of the regular season.
