Cleveland Cavaliers head coach J.B. Bickerstaff will not be on the bench for tonight’s game against the Chicago Bulls due to personal reasons, the team announced.

Assistant coach Greg Buckner, who also worked alongside Bickerstaff as an assistant with the Houston Rockets, will serve as head coach tonight.

Bickerstaff is expected to return on April 23rd when the team faces the Charlotte Hornets.

In his first full season as head coach of the Cavaliers, Bickerstaff has led the team to a 20-37 record, currently 13th in the Eastern Conference and four games out of the last play-in spot.
