Brooklyn Nets received bad news on James Harden’s hamstring issue after the All-Star had a setback in his recovery. However, Nets’ fellow superstar Kevin Durant will return to action soon, according to Steve Nash.

According to Brian Lewis of NY Post, Kevin Durant’s injury is considered minor. The two-time Finals’ MVP suffered a thigh contusion on Sunday’s loss to the Miami Heat.

Brooklyn had only nine active players in the game vs. the Pelicans as Tyler Johnson (knee), Chris Chiozza (hand) and Spencer Dinwiddie (ACL) are still out. At the same time, Nic Claxton and Reggie Perry are also under the NBA’s health and safety protocols.

“I think Kevin’s is more positive [than Harden’s]. I think he’s had a scan and it’s more of a day-to-day thing. We’ll see if it’s in the next few days or more,” Steve Nash said. “But that scan was not alarming or negative in that respect. So we’re hopeful he can be back soon.”
