Luka Doncic put on a show in a game against the Memphis Grizzlies as he scored 29 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 9 assists. His performance was capped with a tough game-winning buzzer-beater.
With 1.8 seconds left to play in the fourth quarter the Dallas Mavericks were down by two points (111-113) as Maxi Kleber made an inbound pass to Doncic who dribbled past two defenders and took a one-handed three off of one leg. It went in and the Mavs won the game 114-113.
The play did not go unnoticed by the Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James who shared his reaction via a tweet. “WOW WOW WOW!!!!! Cmon Luka Doncic you ain’t serious man!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣” the four-time NBA champion tweeted.
Dallas remains in race for the a top six placement ahead of the playoffs in order to avoid the Play-In Tournament. With 30 wins and 24 losses the Mavericks are currently in the seventh place in the Western Conference, one win behind the Trail Blazers.
