The Lakers bounced back after a tough loss on Sunday against their city rivals the Clippers. According to the team’s head coach Frank Vogel, the loss played a part in his players coming out aggressively against the Raptors and winning the game in the end (110-101).

“The disposition and how mad are we,” he said after the game when speaking about the defensive efficiency versus Toronto. “We got embarrassed on Sunday against the Clippers. We’re all on the long flight angry about how that game went. Our mindset was to take it out on the Raptors.

“And we did both with great ball movement and an angry, nasty defensive disposition. We executed our coverages with a high level of focus in detail. We brought great defensive disposition to the game.”
