Marc Gasol hasn’t got involved in any buyout talks with the Los Angeles Lakers, according to Lakers Nation.
Gasol saw his minutes on the floor drop since the addition of Andre Drummond, but he has expressed no desire to leave the team.
“All I can say is he’s loved here. These guys respect him so much and he’s been a true pro in handling this. Like I said, we’re going to need all three of our centers throughout this playoff push, this championship run hopefully. He’s a true pro,” Lakers head coach Frank Vogel noted, via Lakers Nation.
At the same time, Vogel confirmed there have been no talks between the team and Gasol about a buyout.
Gasol has been struggling this season for the Lakers, while he missed nine games in March, due to the Health and Safety protocols.
