Twelve total Golden State Warriors players and coaches went to receive the Johnson & Johnson one-shot COVID-19 vaccine on March 24.

That included head coach Steve Kerr and forward Draymond Green, but the rest are unknown.

“We’ve been really hit hard just by COVID protocols as a team,” said Kerr, referring to recent games missed by James Wiseman, Eric Paschall and Kevon Looney due to the league’s health and safety protocols. “So it’ll be nice to get as many guys as possible vaccinated and hopefully not have any more issues in terms of missing games.”

The NBA has not required that players and coaches get vaccinated, but they have encouraged them to do so once they are eligible.

The league and the NBPA recently agreed to loosen some health and safety protocols for those who are fully vaccinated.

The Warriors joined the Atlanta Hawks, Miami Heat, New Orleans Pelicans, Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Lakers as NBA teams that have either received some vaccines or announced plans to receive the vaccine.
