Dennis Schroder opened up about who should step up for the Lakers, as they are dealing with the absence of Anthony Davis and LeBron James.

Schroder named a few players that he is expecting to step up and make the difference for the defending champions, starting with himself.

“It starts with me, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Montrezl Harrell, Kyle Kuzma. Everybody has to step up,” Schroder told reporters, via Eurohoops.net.

James (right ankle sprain) and Davis (right calf strain) are out indefinitely for the Lakers, who are on a two-game losing streak at the moment (28-15).

For his part, Dennis Schroder had 22 points in the Lakers’ defeat to the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night (94-111).
