In a win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, LeBron James performed a move – a reverse layup – which is often seen from Talen Horton-Tucker.
After the game, the 20-year-old sophomore revealed that James jokingly told him he was learning from him in reference to the reverse layup.
“We were talking today and he was saying because he did a reverse layup and he was saying, ‘see Talen you learning from me, so I’m learning from you,'” Horton- Tucker said, per Ryan Ward. “It’s kind of funny that he said that to me … he’s pretty much the ultimate guy to look up to in this league.”
THT received praise from LeBron postgame as the four-time NBA champion said the Lakers were very lucky to get him so late in the NBA draft.
