Sixers are looking to improve their current core inquiring about several players, who could be available ahead of the trade deadline.

According to Jason Dumas of Bleacher Report, the Philadelphia 76ers have inquired about the availability of Will Barton, P.J. Tucker, Delon Wright and George Hill.

“Based on conversations with sources close to the team, they are not content with their current roster. A source tells B/R the team has inquired about the availability of Will Barton, P.J. Tucker, Delon Wright and George Hill.”

Barton has been playing for the Denver Nuggets the last seven seasons. This year, he’s returned from an injury-plagued season to average 11.6 points per game through 33 contests.

P.J. Tucker of the Houston Rockets has been an attractive option for several contending teams as he’s a savvy veteran on an expiring deal.

The Detroit Pistons’ guard Delon Wright could also be a great fit for the Sixers as their back-up point guard option behind Ben Simmons.

Finally, George Hill could olso offer a better option in the back-up point guard position for Philadelphia being also one of the best perimeter shooters in the league making threes in a 38.4-percent clip during his career.

Last season, as part of a better team than OKC in Milwaukee, the veteran guard shot a career-best 46.0-percent from deep. This year, in OKC, he averages 11.8 points on 50-percent shooting from the field through 14 games.
