Kyle Lowry is expecting the Toronto Raptors to trade him before the March 25 deadline, according to Ryen Russillo of The Ringer.

As Russillo reports, Lowry is telling people he is expecting the Raptors to trade him to another NBA team soon.

“The word on that is that Lowry has been telling everybody for a month that he’s getting traded, which is interesting that he’s already like ‘yeah, I’m out of here.’

So I don’t know if that’s him saying it, I don’t know if that’s some understanding that he has with the front office, I don’t know that part of it but whenever you ask about Lowry, he thinks he’s leaving. I think they should trade him, by the way,” Russillo said during his appearance on the “Bill Simmons Podcast”, via Fadeaway World.

Lowry has spent nine years with Toronto, winning the NBA championship once (2019). He is averaging 18.0 points, 7.0 assists and 5.5 rebounds for the Raptors this season.
