Houston Rockets will look what they have in Kevin Porter Jr. in the second part of the season, according to Shams Charania of the Athletic.

Porter spent time in the G League having made a good impression during his time in the league’s bubble in Orlando. The Rockets are expected to retool their roster, after James Harden’s blockbuster trade.

As a result, they are also hoping to get the best from Kevin Porter Jr., who joined the Rockets earlier this season from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The 2019 first-round pick was traded to Houston for a 2024 second-round pick in late January. In 15 games in G League, Porter averaged 24.1 points, 7.3 assists and 6.5 rebounds.

He was shooting 44.8 percent from the field in 36.0 minutes per contest. As Charania reports, Porter will make his debut for the Rockets after the All-Star Break.
