It has been a tough first part of the season for the Miami Heat as injuries and COVID-19 protocols derailed the last season’s finalist this year.

The Heat superstar Jimmy Butler believes his team could turn things around in the second half of the season despite the ‘terrible’ start.

“Terrible,” Butler said of the Heat’s performance as of late. “Terrible, just terrible. Not the way that we say we want to play. Not the way we’re supposed to be playing, but it’s okay because we will turn it around and like the saying says, ‘Better late than never.’”

The Heat have recorded only 12 wins in the first 29 games of the 2020/21 regular season campaign being away from the elite performances during the NBA restart in Orlando the past summer.

Despite the really tough position early, Butler believes the Heat will be playoff bound once again this year. The Heat would have to like to start their resurgence in the NBA Finals rematch against the Los Angeles Lakers Saturday.
