The Boston Celtics ruled out Robert Williams of Thursday’s night matchup against the Toronto Raptors. Williams is unavailable due to a left hip soreness.

The Celtics will also be without Romeo Langford and Marcus Smart, who are sidelined due to long-term injuries. Boston is expected to rely on Daniel Theis and Tristan Thompson.

Williams has played in 18 games so far in the 2020/21 campaign averaging 14.8 minutes per contest. He puts up 5.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.2 blocks.

The third-year big has only missed five games so far this year against the Nets, the Wizards, the Magic, the Knicks and the Sixers.
