Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis participated in non-contact work during today’s practice, but it’s unknown if he’ll play next game.

Head coach Frank Vogel didn’t say whether Davis would play against the Memphis Grizzlies on Feb. 12, as he wants to see how he feels before tomorrow’s game to determine his status.

Davis has missed the last two games with right Achilles tendonosis.

The 27-year-old gave an optimistic outlook of his injury, saying he feels better, but did not fully commit to playing yet.

“I feel good. I feel good right now. We’ll see how it feels tomorrow and make a decision from there,” said Davis.

Davis reportedly felt soreness in his right calf area starting about two weeks ago.

The Lakers remain cautious with Davis, as they know that it’s more important to have him ready for the postseason push.

In 21 games, the seven-time All-Star is averaging 22.3 points, 8.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.9 blocks per game.
