Frank Vogel addressed the Achilles injury of Anthony Davis, which forced him to sit out the game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Vogel, the head coach of the Lakers, said he is not worried about Davis’ injury and the big man of the defending champions missed the game as a precautionary measure.
“AD has some soreness in the Achilles area. Nothing to really be concerned about,” Vogel said about Davis, via Jovan Buha of The Athletic.
Vogel didn’t mention, though, how many games Davis will miss, as the Lakers will face the Thunder again on Wednesday.
