Jaylen Brown will remain unavailable for the Celtics for Sunday’s contest against the Phoenix Suns. Brown is considered a day-to-day and was also out against the Clippers Friday.

Brown is averaging 26.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 33.1 minutes per game having the best season of his career so far with the Boston Celtics, who remain among the top teams in the East.

The Celtics are expected to play with Daniel Theis starting in the center position after leaving the game versus the Los Angeles Clippers with a minor knee injury.

Marcus Smart and Romeo Langford are still out with a left calf and wrist surgery rehab, respectively. Despite several issues this season, the Celtics remain fourth in the East with 12-9 record.
