It seems the decision to hold the NBA All-Star Game this season has little to no support from the league’s stars. LeBron James publicly admitted to having zero interest in taking part in the event. Kemba Walker shared the same sentiment. The Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard was blunt about the reality of the All-Star Game, saying it’s all about money.

“It is what it is at this point, we all know why we’re playing it, it’s money on the line, it’s an opportunity to make more money. Just putting money over health right now, pretty much,” Leonard said per Andrew Greif of Los Angeles Times.

The 29-year-old forward is expected to be among the players selected for the All-Star Game. This season, he is averaging 26.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.3 assists.
