Steph Curry was bound to complete another milestone on Tuesday night after his 38-point performance in the Warriors’ 111-107 loss to the Boston Celtics.

Curry became just the second player to record at least 17,000 points with the Warriors franchise. The other one in this exclusive list is legend Wilt Chamberlain.

The two-time MVP is close to eclipsing Chamberlain’s record of 17,783 points in a Warriors jersey after pushing his career total to 17,011.

If he continues to be so dominant in the offensive side, Curry could surpass Chamberlain at the end of the season. Steve Kerr called the two-time MVP the best player in the history of the franchise.

“He’s the best Warrior of all time… we’re lucky to have him,” Kerr claimed. Curry’s milestone came on a defeat for his team, as the Warriors fell to Celtics.
