Former NBA player and current analyst Jay Williams thinks that LeBron James took the game against the Milwaukee Bucks personally.
Giannis Antetokounmpo was named MVP last season which was disappointing for James who considered himself deserving of the award.
LeBron played 38 minutes during which he scored 34 points while Giannis responded with 25. On top of that, the Lakers won the game and climbed back to the top of the Western Conference.
Even though the Los Angeles Lakers superstar downplayed defeating Antetokounmpo, Williams thinks that James wanted to make a statement with his performance for the ‘stolen’ MVP of the last year.
