The Los Angeles Lakers are considering Mike Budenholzer, Kenny Atkinson, JJ Redick, and Tyronn Lue for their head coaching vacancy. Budenholzer, who led the Milwaukee Bucks to an NBA championship in 2021, parted ways with the team after the 2022-23 season.
Atkinson, formerly the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets, has been an assistant coach with the Golden State Warriors. Redick, a former NBA player turned ESPN analyst, has interviewed for coaching positions before. Lue, currently under contract with the Los Angeles Clippers, is also being considered.
