Kevin Durant shared his thoughts on his performance with the Brooklyn Nets in the first games of the season.

Durant said he has been surprised by how well he has played early in the season, given his 18-month absence due to an Achilles injury.

“Durant said Saturday he still had a “long way to go” but hard to believe he’s been this good, this fast after that type of injury and layoff,” Durant said, via Brian Mahoney of The Associated Press.

Durant had a season-best 42 points against the Orlando Magic on Saturday and is averaging 30.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.7 assists in 10 games this season.
