Bayern Munich’s head coach, Andrea Trinchieri will have to pay the amount of 3,500 euros as Euroleague Basketball announced. The Italian head coach, acted “disrespectfully” towards the referees after his team’s loss to Olympiacos in Piraeus. Trinchieri insisted that in his team’s last possession of the match, his player was fouled when attempted to shoot a three pointer.

Per Euroleague Basketball:

“Mr Andrea Trinchieri, head coach of FC Bayern Munich has been sanctioned with a fine of 3,500€ for actions that represent a lack of respect towards the officiating crew on occasion of its away game against Olympiacos Piraeus under Article 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code”.
