Andrea Trinchieri was not happy with FC Bayern Munich’s schedule in the German Cup’s Final-Four, which will take place two days before the team’s first game in the EuroLeague postseason.

The EuroLeague playoffs are set to start on April 20 with FC Bayern facing Armani Milano in the fashion capital. If Bayern gets past the German Cup’s semi-final vs. Ulm, Trinchieri’s team will face either BG Göttingen or Alba Berlin on Sunday’s final.

(per Robert Heusel):

“Everywhere else a team that plays EuroLeague playoffs is an ambassador. For the league, for the country, for the local players. We are not ambassadors or anything!,” Trinchieri said on German BBL schedule.

Bayern is on the midst of a historic season as the club secured its qualification for the EuroLeague postseason for the first time in the history of the competition, becoming the first-ever German team to achieve that kind of success in the EuroLeague.
