Scott Brooks addressed the quad injury of Washington Wizards superstar Russell Westbrook, which will sideline him for at least a week.
Brooks, the head coach of the Wizards, revealed Westbrook has been dealing with the injury since the training camp.
“He will probably be upset that I’m saying this. He hurt himself, he got hit pretty bad in his quad in training camp. The thing about him is he’s tough as nails,” Brooks said, via Chase Hughes of NBC Sports.
Westbrook is expected to miss the next three or four games of the Wizards in order to rest and recover from the injury.
